Thinking of trying our BJJ Fundamentals class with Coach Paul Grennel (aka Grappling with a Physio)? You don’t need to be an expert — just bring the right mindset and a few essentials:

🥋 What to Bring:

  • A BJJ gi (if you have one – loaners may be available)
  • Water bottle to stay hydrated
  • Flip-flops for off the mat
  • Towel and change of clothes if you plan to shower
  • A positive attitude and readiness to learn

This class is designed for beginners and returning grapplers who want to build solid fundamentals in a safe, supportive environment. Coach Paul combines elite-level knowledge with physiotherapy insight — so you’ll learn technique, body awareness, and injury prevention all in one session.

What is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)?

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a grappling-based martial art focused on leverage, technique, and control — not brute strength.
